Her father was a coach of Sunil Chettri, and he talked a lot about Sunil at his house. When she was 15 years old, from her father’s mobile phone, she took the phone number of Sunil Chhetri. After that, she sent a message to Sunil, where she expressed her desire and respect to meet him. Initially, he thought that she was a child when they met for the first time, but they continued connecting with each other by texting for about two months.
One day, Sunil was fixing his coach Subrata’s mobile phone, and a number rang. The call that was rang was Sonam’s number. Then he got to know that Sonam is the daughter of his coach. Straight after that, they both decided to stop their relationship to avoid any further complications with her father. However, he cannot stop thinking about her and then he connected with her again. This time, they kept their relationship private and hardly met with each other.
They both met with each other twice a year due to the everyday travels of Sunil Chhetri. They also shared that if they wanted to watch movies together, then Sunil would buy two tickets and leave one at the counter. Thereafter, Sonam collects the ticket and later joins him in the theatre.
Later, Sunil went to her house and told each and everything about their relationship in front of Sonam’s father. After hearing the confession of Sunil, Subrata accepted their relationship and gave approval for their marriage. After a few months, the couple married with each other.
